Quick Facts

  • 7 on/7 off schedule — 12-hour shifts, two weeks per month
  • 10 – 18 pediatric floor patients per day, 6 – 12 ED consults daily
  • 27-bed pediatric medical/surgical floor — no step-down coverage
  • In-house position with ED code response
  • Acuity includes RSV, flu, COVID, and post-surgical patients
  • Required skills: lumbar puncture, stabilization, pediatric sedation
  • Minimum three-month coverage need with potential extension
  • Rounding limited to pediatric unit only
